90% of my games have horizontal cover from IGDB or Steam, and it’s easier to find the cover in horizontal, so changing the default cover ratio would be cool.
Make a way to pre-fill all empty or all selected games with IGDB, even if we need to pickup the right game from a list, like now, but in a bulk way (All the games empty or selected on the same screen, and we only select the right game for each games from the IGDB search engine.)
It would be cool to make the background more or less blurry for all the games, because actually we can’t see much from the background and it’s less convenient
For thoses who have a lot of games to add inside GameRoom, and who use IGDB, most of the games doesn’t have a cover and it’s really slow to download and add manually a cover for each, but the most have at least one picture, so it would be cool to use this picture instead of nothing.
There’s no reason not to and plenty of reasons to. Dealing with pull requests is easier than implementing each and every requested feature solo.
please let us create folder like “last played” and etc
please give ability to use xbox 360 controller to access game
It seems Gameroom does not have the ability to save the sorting option and it needs to be set again upon booting it up.
That and how the controller does not work if it is connected after launching Gameroom.
The one feature that makes Steam better than all other game launchers/managers/downloaders that I’ve used is that it has a tabular display mode that shows icon/image, title, installed, metascore, developer, last played, size on disk, etc. It’s really disappointing that GameRoom tracks a bunch of data on each game but doesn’t let you view and sort it in bulk on a tabular display.
In particular, I’d like to see release date so that I can try to attack some items from my library in release order.
Would be great if more than one folder could be set in the options for GameRoom to scan for new games.
